When I Pray for My Child

I have been a firm believer of the power of prayer. And as a parent, I know that prayer can work wonders in the lives of our children. Praying, based on what I have learned (through reading, listening and my very own experience) is the acknowledgement of a Higher Being. A Being who is waaaaaaay greater than me. And when I pray, I recognize His presence and His ability to bless me and come to my aid when in distress.

I know I can’t do everything for my child. I can’t even protect her from EVERY harm that may come her way. I can’t even provide for her EVERYTHING that she needs. But I have my God and I entrust to Him my child. He loves her more than I do and what I can’t provide for her, He will.
